No Batteries Needed. Cable Actuated SRAM Transmission Is Here.

For those of you that don't like to worry about charging shit or perhaps just can't remember to charge shit every time, or don't like the robotic sounds coming from wireless shifting, but you still like the idea of the the toughness and less broken derailleur hangers, worry no more. Cable Actuated SRAM Transmission has landed. It will come in two versions. 70 or 90. The 70 will come as OEM on complete bikes and the 90 will be available for aftermarket purchase and is equivalent to the GX level wireless Transmission. The new cable actuated Transmission can be purchased at Jenson USA in bits or as a full groupset.

Mechanical. Now unstoppable.

Eagle 90 Transmission is the world’s first mechanical groupset with Full-Mount toughness, rebuildable robustness and unprecedented sure-thing shifting under max power. With game-changing ease of set up and zero guesswork required, Eagle 90 is pretty much unstoppable. And proves the satisfying tactility of shifting mechanically is reimagined for the next era of MTB.

The best mechanical shift under load–Period

Even with the added watts of E-MTB, the X-Sync tooth profile and 44 specific shifting points on Eagle Transmission cassettes allow you to shift with unstoppable precision under all the power you can muster. It’s the best mechanical shift performance under load there is. It’s not even a contest.

Tough, Reliable, Unstoppable Performance

The Eagle 90 Transmission derailleur is the absolute toughest you can find. Using a Full Mount attachment, there’s no derailleur hanger to bend or break, and everything is centered around the center of the axle itself. It’s precise, reliable, and literally strong enough to stand on without a whimper. In the event that it does take a crazy hard hit, it rotates out the way, ready for a quick Trailside Reset that will have you back shredding in seconds. This is what unstoppable on-trail performance is all about.

The Eagle 90 derailleur is so durable that you’ll probably never need to rebuild it. But if it becomes necessary, it’s the most rebuildable derailleur ever. And all it takes is minutes to rebuild it, with three basic tools. Rebuild kits and skid plates can be found easily. All to help keep your Eagle 90 derailleur on the trails for a lifetime.

Five black bike crank arms of varying lengths (175mm to 155mm) are displayed vertically on a dark background, with labeled measurements.

Eagle 90 cranksets unique design is forged from aluminum for robustness and dependability, at arm lengths in 5mm increments from 175mm to 155mm. Like the feel of spinning big circles? Choose 175mm crankarms. Want to minimize pedal strikes on a bike with a low-slung BB, choose 155mm crankarms.

Bicycle parts arranged on a white background include a black gear cassette, silver chain, crank arm, and derailleur.

My favorite part of this besides the fact there are no batteries involved is there are no limit screws or b-tensioner screw to worry about having to adjust. I am looking forward to my current drivetrain wearing out so I can get my hands on this.
